Tattoo at the Castle
July was a busy month for events and celebrations. At the start of July The Band of the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment and The Pipes and Drums of the London Scottish Regiment, performed an open-air military concert followed by a beating retreat in front of the castle.
It was a magnificent turn out and in aid of ABF, the Soldiers’ Charity is the National Charity of the British Army, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families for life when they are in need.
The charity makes grants to individuals, and to a wide range of specialist charities who provide support for the Army.
We welcomed to the castle for the second time in one month, HM Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex Peter Field.
