Queen’s impact rankings
April saw the publication of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings which revealed that Queen’s University, the Castle’s parent university, has placed first in Canada and fifth in the world in its global ranking of universities that are advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within and beyond their local communities.
The rankings measured more than 1,200 institutions and focused on the impact made in 17 categories measuring sustainability.
Here at the Castle we are undertaking a range of new initiatives to drive this agenda forward further, with our students, staff and visitors and will keep you updated as to how you can get involved. You can read more about the rankings and the UN’s SDG’s on the Queen’s website Rankings | Queen’s University (queensu.ca).
