1920s Film Matinee!

1920s Film Matinee!

14.00-16.30, Friday 26th November, The Hailsham Pavilion

A young woman, working in the kitchen at a London dance club, is given the chance to become the club’s main act which soon leads to a plot of betrayal, forbidden love and murder! Join us at the atmospheric Hailsham Pavilion, a beautifully restored cinema originally built in 1921, to watch this classic 1920s film ‘Piccadilly’ accompanied by  a short introductory talk by Dr Robert Hyland, Associate Professor of Film and media Studies at the Bader International Study Centre.
